Amogus Guy
Identity varies. If human, talks about parties. If Visitor, acts like a conman trying to sell a pyramid scheme.

Angry Man
Has an angry expression and looks ready for a fight.

Best Son
Young man (referred to as 'The Son').

Blind Man
He gouged out his own eyes because he could not bear the horrors of the apocalypse. He is mentally unstable and may eventually commit suicide.

Broodmother
Does little to hide her Visitor identity. If let in, you will hear her trying to suppress her laughter at night. If refused at the door, she will threaten you and imply she has accomplices outside, after which you will hear continuous knocking on the windows.

Burned Firefighter
He is a firefighter who was severely injured in a fire and is filled with guilt for not being able to save more people. He will force his way into your home on the eighth night.

Cabbie
Man in a taxi driver's uniform.

Cashier Lady
A tragic figure who seems to genuinely believe she is human and is frightened and confused by her own potential Visitor traits. When her Visitor status is confirmed, she has a mental breakdown and accepts her execution.

Cat Lady
One of the most obvious Visitors in the game. She admits she was 'sent' and is under strict orders not to harm the protagonist. If asked to 'dance,' she will contort her body in inhuman ways to dodge bullets.

Cold Man
Very polite and grateful, will not resist examinations. However, if allowed to stay long enough, he will reveal a massive black hole in his torso that instantly kills everyone else in the room.

Conspiracy Theorist
Nervous-looking man with glasses.

Cultist 1
Member of a death cult. Left at your house on the eighth night by the Cult Leader. Worships death, and his words and actions revolve around their beliefs.

Cultist 2
Member of a death cult. Left at your house on the eighth night by the Cult Leader.

Cultist 3
Member of a death cult. Left at your house on the eighth night by the Cult Leader.

Dreamer
An ordinary-looking man.

FEMA Wife
Woman with red headband.

Fortune Teller
Speaks in cryptic prophecies.

Girl in Cap
Young girl wearing a cap, has braces.

Grave Digger
Fingernails are always dirty due to his profession.

Guy in FEMA Coat
He seems to have looted the suit from a corpse and is deeply distrustful of the FEMA organization. The suit is 'tainted with death'.

Homeless Man
A man in tattered clothing.

Hunchback Lady
Always a Visitor. Hostile with no strategic value.

Hunter
Will visit on nights 10 and 12 demanding proof you're not a Visitor. Extreme survival strategy of projecting paranoia outward.

Immortal Man
Man who talks about being immortal.

Man and Wife
The husband is the dominant one in the relationship.

Man wearing a green cap.

Man in Purple Headband

Man with Mouth Sewn Shut
He does not speak English and can only make muffled sounds. His speech can be decoded using an Atbash cipher. He appears to have suffered great trauma and is timid but desires connection.

Mother with Child
Woman with a young child.

Neighbor
He is the protagonist's neighbor who comes to warn him at the start of the disaster, explaining the core survival rule: 'don't be alone'. He is concerned for his family, especially his daughter. His house is later burned down, and he is killed by Visitors.

Neighbor's Daughter
After her father's death, she flees to the protagonist's house for safety. She is innocent and represents one of the few symbols of purity in this harsh world.

Nun
Rude and unfriendly despite religious appearance.

Person in Wheelchair
Person using a wheelchair.

Religious Guy
Man who talks about religion and the sun.

Rent Guy
Man who looks like a landlord.

Seductive Woman
Will actively flirt with the protagonist using seductive language. Required for Child of Doom ending storyline.

Shirtless Guy
A shirtless man (large build).

Stoner
Man with a pizza box and a dazed expression.

Surgeon
Claims he left his job due to paranoia.

Tall Guy
He typically appears on the first night, claiming he was kicked out of his last shelter for 'personality' issues. He is direct and advises the player not to judge by appearances but to get to know people through conversation. Despite his strange looks, he is widely considered one of the most reliable 'bro' characters in the game.

The Intruder
The game's primary antagonist and the enforcer of the 'don't be alone' rule. He never pretends to be human, relying instead on pure violence and intimidation. He can massacre an entire unit of soldiers and emerge unscathed.

Twin Sister 1
One of twin sisters, this one appears healthy and cheerful.

Twin Sister 2
One of twin sisters, this one appears depressed and withdrawn.

Widow
She deeply loved her husband and cannot accept his death, refusing to bury him. She is emotionally unstable, exhausted, and depressed, but kind-hearted.
